This is the town pound in Auburn, NH as seen from the back through the trees. Back in the days of the early settlers, cattle would get loose due to lack of secure fencing. These loose cattle would be gathered by the pound keeper and impounded in this town pound. (There, I'll bet you didn't know you were going to get a history lesson today! *LOL*)
