This is Jacob, a Paint gelding that I rode for my first trail ride on rugged terrain. (Meaning up & down hills, through mud, between trees, dodging low brances....) He stood 15 hands tall. He was VERY comfortable to ride, and really took care of me out there on the trail! (This photo was on the barn's web site, because he was for sale.)
