This is Windjammer -- Jammer for short. He was an Appaloosa gelding. Either he was a few spot leopard pattern, or a white Appy with a blanket that has black spots. Notice how the mark on his nose looks like an elongated heart? I think he probably had Quarter Horse blood in his ancestry, judging from his stocky build. He stood about 15 hands tall. He had really comfortable gaits! I was there the day Sandy sold him. He turned & looked at me as he walked past while his new owner was leading him to the trailer, and felt very sad that I'd probably never see him again. I'd heard he went to a barn where they do military re-enactments. I think I may have seen him in a parade for Salem, NH's 250th birthday celebration parade in May 2000, but wasn't 100% sure it was him since I didn't get a look at his nose -- he was part of a military re-enactment drill team, and they were walking in a sidewinder/"S" pattern; so his nose was always either hidden by the horse in front of him, or facing the other direction.
