I was taking a short break while working on a sitting trot with no stirrups. (If you look very closely, you'll see that they're crossed over his back in front of the saddle.) The purpose of this (when riding English) is to work on developing a deeper seat. This was also taken Christmas Eve 1993. I miss my big white friend!
