This is Rooster, a Spanish Arabian gelding. (Registered name Spanish Hallany -- if I've spelled that correctly.) He stood about 15+ hands tall. He was Sandy's baby, and was the most spoiled horse in the barn! *LOL* She couldn't use him for lessons when she first got him, because he was a bit too high strung. As soon as she'd ask the class to trot, he was off to the races -- even if he was trotted for 20 minutes before the lesson. He mellowed out quite a bit over the years, and became a very laid back boy! He was SO comfortable to ride -- one of the traits of the Arabian horse is their wonderful floating gaits!
